#01. How it works
In partnership with the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) and the Disability-Inclusive Parenting (DIP) Project, Musa Body Machinery designed, manufactured, and installed a 1-tonne-per-day maize flour production facility in Kiryandongo District.
This project was more than just a food processing installation. It was a strategic intervention to strengthen food security, create livelihoods, and demonstrate how inclusive development programs can integrate custom machinery solutions to empower communities, especially parents raising children with disabilities.
The maize mill provided a reliable, sustainable way to convert locally grown maize into affordable flour for both household use and local markets, supporting income generation and community resilience.
